Critical Care Nursing Specialist - North Battleford
Job Overview:
Health Careers in Sask is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nursing Specialist to join our team at the Combined Medical & Surgical Intensive Care Nursing Unit in North Battleford. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to meet those needs
- Implement and evaluate nursing interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and comprehensive patient management
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to empower informed decision-making and self-care
Requirements:
- Two (2) years of experience in acute care settings, preferably in intensive care units
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent degree
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) level C, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Critical Care Nursing (CCN) training or willingness to complete it within a specified timeframe
- Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Compensation and Benefits:
