Job Summary

WARIS CONSTRUCTION LTD. is seeking an experienced Office Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Office Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Coordination
    • Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings
    • Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Answer and direct telephone calls and messages
    • Respond to electronic enquiries and correspondence
    • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients
  • Administrative Support
    • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
    • Perform data entry and record-keeping tasks
    • Assist with basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks
  • Support for Diverse Groups
    • Provide physical accessibility accommodations for employees and clients
    • Participate in initiatives that support persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative support role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
