About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Parlour Restaurant Toronto. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and development opportunities to help staff improve their skills and knowledge, and to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage Restaurant Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing inventory, controlling costs, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Ensure Quality and Service Standards: Ensure that all food and beverages meet our high standards of quality and presentation, and that our customers receive excellent service.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns, and work to resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Manage Records and Reports: Maintain accurate records and reports of sales, inventory, and other key metrics, and use this data to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service management role
  • Work Setting: On-site customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, standing for extended periods, attention to detail
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, dependability
