About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at SAKU Richmond. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including complete meals and individual foods, using fresh ingredients and adhering to food safety guidelines.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies as needed to ensure a smooth kitchen operation.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other kitchen team members to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
