Job Description

Job Title: Level Designer - Far Cry Project

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Level Designer to join our team at Ubisoft Entertainment. As a Level Designer, you will be responsible for creating immersive and engaging game environments that bring our players to life. You will work closely with our development team to design and implement levels that meet our high standards of quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and create game levels that are engaging, challenging, and fun
  • Work with the development team to implement levels and ensure they meet our quality standards
  • Collaborate with other designers and artists to create a cohesive and immersive game world
  • Use game engines and tools to create and test levels
  • Communicate effectively with the team to ensure levels meet our design and quality standards
  • Continuously evaluate and improve level design to ensure it meets our high standards

Requirements:

  • College diploma in Game Design or equivalent
  • At least 7 years of experience in video game level design or related experience
  • Experience using game engines (e.g. Unity or Unreal) and 2D/3D software (e.g. Photoshop, 3DS Max, Maya, or Sketchup)
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to accept feedback and adapt to it
  • Curiosity, flexibility, and resourcefulness
