Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our organization and provide strategic vision to ensure we continue to make a meaningful impact in the lives of autistic individuals and their families.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in senior management in the non-profit sector, with experience in program delivery, fundraising, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Provide leadership and oversight to our programs and services, ensuring alignment with our vision, mission, and values.">
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure best-in-class programs and services.">
  • Foster partnerships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders to enhance service integration.">
  • Represent the organization to the public, media, funders, and community stakeholders.">
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including budgeting, human resources, and risk management.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Graduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.">
  • Minimum 10 years in a senior management role in the non-profit sector.">
  • Understanding of disability issues related to autism, early childhood services, employment services, FSCD, PDD, and relevant legislation.">
  • Self-awareness, strong interpersonal, communications, risk management, leadership skills, and a desire to motivate others.">
  • Intense belief in inclusion, understanding of neurodiversity affirming practices, experience with DEI, and commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement.">

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.

">

Location: Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta.

">
