Sessional Instructional Assistant

Job Summary
The University of Toronto is seeking a highly qualified Sessional Instructional Assistant to provide academic support to students in the Faculty of Architecture, Landscape & Design. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating students' visual literacy and assisting in the preparation of students for future learning in design.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic support to students in the Faculty of Architecture, Landscape & Design
- Cultivate students' visual literacy and assist in the preparation of students for future learning in design
- Actively participate in students' understanding of material taught during class and provide critical feedback to student work
Qualifications
- Masters students or graduates in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or Urban Design, preferably at the John H. Daniels Faculty with a GPA above 3.5 in studio courses
- Proficiency with Rhino, AutoCAD, Adobe CS, and ability to communicate about design required
Working Conditions
- Work will be conducted on campus, with regular meetings and interactions with students and faculty
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
