Sessional Instructional Assistant, ACT475H1S L0101
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly qualified Sessional Instructional Assistant to support the teaching and learning process in our Actuarial Science course. The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of instruction, grading, and other related duties.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the delivery of instruction to students in the Actuarial Science course
- Grade assignments and exams
- Develop and maintain course materials
- Provide support to students through office hours and other means
- Collaborate with the course instructor to ensure a high-quality learning experience
- Academic background in statistical sciences, actuarial science, statistics, or biostatistics
- Experience with actuarial software AXIS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This is a part-time position, approximately 65 hours per term. The successful candidate will be required to work on Fridays from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.
