Job Summary
This is a part-time Sessional Instructional Assistant position at the University of Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, grading, and other instructional duties related to the course ACT475H1S L0101 - Insurance Products and Regulation with AXIS.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching and leading discussions in the course
- Grading assignments and exams
- Developing and delivering course materials
- Providing feedback to students
- Other instructional duties as required
Requirements
- Academic background in statistical sciences, actuarial science, statistics, or biostatistics
- Experience with actuarial software AXIS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Sessional Instructional Assistant or in a similar role
- Knowledge of the University of Toronto's policies and procedures
