About the Role

This permanent, part-time position involves assisting early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs for child development
  • Help keep records as instructed by early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Support children in developing good eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
Work Environment

This role is based at SUNTREE DAYCARE & OSC CENTRE. The work schedule is 30 hours per week.

Requirements
  • You must be legally able to work in Canada
  • You should have previous experience in this field of employment

We estimate the salary range for this position to be around $25-$35 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. This translates to approximately $50,000-$70,000 per year, assuming a 30-hour workweek.
