Job Summary:

The Corporate Human Resources Manager- Fluids will be a true generalist who will deliver exceptional service to the Fluids Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, coordinate, and administer policies and procedures related to all phases of Human Resources activities.
  • Collect and analyze HR and safety metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure all HR and safety apps are updated correctly and on-time to maintain compliance.
  • Provide corporate recruiting support and assist plants as needed to meet business objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs for Corporate staff.
  • Update job descriptions as required to reflect changing business needs.
  • Assist with immigration and relocation as needed to support business growth.
  • Track performance appraisals and provide feedback to employees.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for Corporate and plants as needed.
  • Support succession planning and IDP's to ensure business continuity.
  • Prepare month-end reporting to inform business decisions.
  • Manage and track employee headcount/manning reports to ensure accurate staffing levels.
  • Liaise with governmental bodies and legal community as required to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies concerning applicable laws.

Required Education and Experience:

  • College degree in Human Resources Management or similar field; or equivalent Human Resources experience; Human Resources designation preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years Human Resources Generalist experience in manufacturing industry; minimum 3 years at manager level.
  • CHRL/CHRP designation would be an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communicator in the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll and benefits administration.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace legislation, employment law and compliance.
  • Ability to interact with the Management Team in a professional manner to continually enhance the Company's performance.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision and with minimum direction.
  • Familiar with the Occupational Health and Safety Acts and regulations.
