Job Summary:

The Corporate Human Resources Manager-Fluids will be a strategic partner to the Fluids Business Unit, delivering exceptional service and driving business results through effective HR practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and administer HR policies and procedures to support business objectives.
  • Collect and analyze HR and safety metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates to HR and safety apps.
  • Lead corporate recruiting efforts and provide support to plants as needed.
  • Develop and implement onboarding programs for corporate staff.
  • Create and update job descriptions to reflect changing business needs.
  • Assist with immigration and relocation processes.
  • Track performance appraisals and provide coaching to employees.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for corporate and plant staff.
  • Support succession planning and IDP initiatives.
  • Prepare month-end reporting and manage employee headcount/manning reports.
  • Liaise with government agencies and legal professionals to ensure compliance with HR regulations.

Requirements:

  • College degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with 3 years in a management role.
  • CHRL/CHRP designation an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of payroll and benefits administration, as well as workplace legislation and employment law.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
