About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Carbone Pizzeria. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and specials that showcase our Italian cuisine.
  • Chef Management: Supervise and train our kitchen staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide exceptional service and food quality.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Teamwork: Work closely with our front-of-house staff to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that our kitchen and dining areas are clean and well-maintained.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and completion of a culinary program or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with overtime required.
  • Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks.
