We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team in Vancouver. As an entry-level sales role, you will be responsible for developing new business relationships and serving as the first level of support to existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various strategies, including internet research, trade show lists, referrals, professional directories, and personal investigation
  • Foster and close new client relationships through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other means
  • Grow new business from existing clients by working closely with senior leadership to expand current relationships and upsell the TransPerfect portfolio
  • Creative problem-solving to improve new business development strategy
  • Negotiate rates and deadlines with prospective and current clients

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a bonus plan and career development opportunities.
