As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will generate new business by reaching out to prospects and working alongside the marketing and sales teams. You will be responsible for researching, prospecting, and sequencing potential clients and booking calls for our Account Executives.

This is an opportunity to fast-track your career within technology sales and to be a key driver for the growth of our organization. High performers within the BDR role have an opportunity to fast-track their career in sales and business development. Within one year as a BDR, you will have the opportunity to transition to an Account Executive role.

RockMass is a global company that offers flexible work hours as many clients are in various time zones. Willingness to work outside of conventional working hours, such as one evening a week, is a requirement.

You will report directly to the Sales Manager and work alongside the sales, marketing, and technical services teams.

- Experience working within a technology company and familiarity with SaaS-based businesses is an asset

**Responsibilities**

As a Business Development Representative with RockMass, you will be responsible for generating new business through direct outreach and creating campaigns for marketing qualified leads. Responsibilities will include:

- Qualify prospective clients and book tech demos for Account Executives
- Establish messaging, sequencing, and A/B testing for outreach campaigns
- Clearly and concisely articulate the RockMass value propositions and product benefits
- Organize and clean leads on a routine basis in HubSpot
- Manage sales inquiries on the website live chat

**Skills and Experience**
- as a Business Development Representative, preferably within a technology or SaaS-related business
- Exceptional written and oral communication
- Self-starter who is highly motivated and can make decisions autonomously
- Highly collaborative team member who is open to new ideas and concepts
- Creative and outspoken individual who is eager to come up with new solutions and share ideas

**Nice to have**
- Former experience working within HubSpot is an asset, but not required
- General understanding of the mining and/or infrastructure industry
