We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we are operating within budget and to the highest standards of food safety.
- Organize and execute buffets and banquets to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our guests and exceeding their expectations.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
