Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food and service.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Supervise and train specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop and implement menus that meet quality standards and cater to diverse customer needs, including those with food allergies or intolerances.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and arrange for equipment purchases and repairs to maintain a well-stocked and well-maintained kitchen.
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a positive work environment.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
