We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Swiss Chalet. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
Responsibilities:- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure a smooth operation
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet customer expectations
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain inventory levels
- Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a high level of hygiene
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
