About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Roadside Willies Smokehouse & Bar. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all food is handled and presented in a safe and appealing manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent oral communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
