We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at MARUTI TRURO NS INC. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including complete meals and individual items, to meet the needs of our customers.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including the storage and handling of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and high-quality food production.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that inventory levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Inspect food and kitchen areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of quality and safety.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Work Setting: This role is based in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Physical Capabilities: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Organized, reliable, and a team player are essential qualities for this role.
- Hours of Work: 30 to 35 hours per week.
- Language of Work: English.
