We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Swiss Chalet. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked kitchen
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet customer demands
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Order supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked kitchen
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
