About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Swiss Chalet. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked kitchen
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet customer demands
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked kitchen
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity
