Senior System Development Engineer, Games

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Games. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and reliable systems to support our games.
Key Responsibilities- System Maintenance and Development: Maintain and develop various services, including Perforce, Atlassian, TestRail, and Incredibuild, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Technology Solutions: Design and deliver technology solutions that are tested, maintainable, optimized, and generate positive feedback from stakeholders.
- Infrastructure Management: Configure and own AWS service accounts, monitoring, and alarms to ensure efficient and secure infrastructure operations.
- Long-term Planning: Plan and deploy new technologies as needed to stay ahead of the curve and meet business demands.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to internal systems and processes, focusing on automation and documentation.
- Customer Support: Provide daily support to internal customers and resolve issues related to systems and services.

Requirements- Systems Engineering Fundamentals: Strong knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals, including networking, storage, and operating systems.
- Programming Experience: Experience programming with at least one modern language, such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- AWS Experience: Experience building services using AWS products.
- Infrastructure Automation: Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
- Agile Environment: Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.
- Professional Software Development: Experience in professional software development, preferably in a similar role.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems, architectural deficiencies, or areas where systems hinder innovation.
