Strategic Philanthropy Director, SickKids Transformation
1 week ago
SickKids Foundation is a world-renowned child healthcare centre that relies heavily on philanthropy to drive research and care advances.
We are currently seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as the Vice President, Campaign. This role will be instrumental in overseeing the planning and execution of a comprehensive fundraising campaign, Precision Child Health (PCH), which aims to revolutionize paediatric care through individualized, targeted approaches.
As a key member of the Development Team and Senior Management Team, you will contribute to the organization's strategies, plans, and successes for years to come. Your expertise in all aspects of fundraising, including pipeline development, cultivation, and solicitation of gifts at the seven-figure level and above, will be crucial in expanding and diversifying our donor base globally.
This is a rare opportunity for an exceptional leader to shape the future of paediatric healthcare and make a lasting impact on the lives of children worldwide.
The ideal candidate will possess progressive leadership experience in senior fundraising roles, preferably within healthcare, education, or complex settings. A proven track record of securing gifts of $5 million+ from individual and corporate donors is essential, along with deep expertise in building, inspiring, and retaining high-performing teams.
You will also be responsible for managing a small portfolio of prospects and donors, overseeing the management of the Campaign Cabinet, and supporting key volunteers and SickKids leadership.
We offer a comprehensive benefit package, including a competitive salary range of $207,060-$245,635, with the ability to progress to a maximum of $282,170, annual incentive opportunities, and tuition reimbursement.
To support your health, wellness, and career growth, we provide a flexible work environment combining in-office collaboration and remote working arrangements, a pension plan, birth parent/parental top-up, and a flex benefit plan.
A hybrid work environment allows for a balance between office collaboration and remote work, enabling you to thrive in a dynamic setting while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
SickKids Foundation is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, aiming to create an inclusive culture where every individual feels valued and respected. We actively seek candidates from diverse backgrounds, including Black, Indigenous, communities of colour, people with disabilities, and the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
