About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Server Assistant to join our team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler. As a Server Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is nothing short of exceptional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Anticipate and meet the needs of our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
- Support the Server team by delivering food and beverages, refilling drinks, clearing tables, and resetting.
- Serve and clear all food and beverage items, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Complete opening and closing side work as assigned, ensuring the restaurant is prepared for service.
- Set all tables according to standards, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests.
- Have a thorough understanding of our menu, describing food items to guests and answering any questions they may have.
- Break down displays or side stations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Monitor overall restaurant cleanliness, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years' experience in food and beverage, preferably in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment.
- Solid knowledge of food and beverage products, including wine.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Excellent commitment to service and teamwork.
- Ability to obtain a Serving It Right certificate.
- Ability to work in Canada.
