In-Room Dining Department Manager

At Fairmont Chateau Whistler, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced In-Room Dining Captain to join our team. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our In-Room Dining service, providing exceptional guest experiences, and leading a team of dedicated professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the daily operations of the In-Room Dining department, ensuring seamless service delivery and high staff morale.
- Monitor labor costs and optimize staffing levels to meet guest demand.
- Develop and implement training programs for new and existing team members, focusing on excellent service standards and product knowledge.
- Collaborate with the management team and F&B Division to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts, maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Supervisory experience in a food and beverage department, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills, with a proven track record of team performance and guest satisfaction.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Serving It Right certification and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
