Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Director to lead our team of Delay experts in domestic and international arbitration and litigation. As a key member of our team, you will work on small to medium-sized projects in various industries, including infrastructure, oil, gas, and residential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Expert Report Development: Draft detailed expert reports and analysis for final reports, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
  2. Project Management: Manage the workload and tasks of the project team, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  3. Financial Management: Manage budgets and fee reports, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  4. Document Review: Review documents on various project types in a broad range of industries, including infrastructure, oil & gas, and residential.
  5. Communication: Draft notes and external communications to support project scope and individual work streams.
  6. Proposal Development: Develop and assist in project and fee proposals for small to medium-sized projects, and support proposals for large projects.
  7. Team Development: Manage the development and training of team members, ensuring their growth and success.
  8. Client Engagement: Present and participate in client meetings, building strong relationships and trust.
  9. Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to drive project success.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Degree-level education in a construction or Delay Surveying related field.
  2. Qualifications: RICS or MRICS qualified, with a relevant MSc an advantage.
  3. Experience: Ideally 9+ years of construction-related industry experience, with 2+ years of experience in performing detailed Delay forensic analysis.
  4. Skills: Excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel, comfortable with large sets of data, and experience in drafting sections of expert reports.
