About the Role

Momentum Financial Services Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Director of Analytics to lead our analytics team and drive business value through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business partners to provide analytic and consulting services, leveraging expertise in business analytics and reporting.
  • Build and lead a team of analytic professionals to solve business problems across various financial service domains, including loan origination, customer management, finance, fraud, collections, operations, and marketing.
  • Develop and implement dashboards, reports, and alerts to inform business trends and optimize processes.
  • Evaluate and curate new tools, techniques, and data sources to uncover business value and drive growth.
  • Communicate findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Foster a test & learn culture within the team and with business partners.
  • Mentor, manage, and motivate a highly educated team of analytic professionals.
Requirements
  • Degree in an applied quantitative discipline, such as Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Physics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Graduate degree preferred, or additional 5+ years of experience in lieu of advanced degree.
  • 10+ years of experience in applied analytics, preferably in financial services.
  • Familiarity with various financial service functions and their associated KPIs.
  • 5+ years of management experience.
Skills
  • Expert in SQL and proficient in Python, SAS, R, or other analytic programming languages.
  • Expert in the development and delivery of dashboards, reports, and alerts using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, etc.
  • Proficient in the design of experiments, statistical analysis, and business analytics.
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to coach and motivate a highly educated team.
