Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor - Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at CANADA INC. O/A MACEWEN WELLINGTON (21725). As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles
  • Authorize return of merchandise and maintain accurate records
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and productivity
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure stock levels are adequate and products are easily accessible
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure seamless store operations

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in a retail environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
