We are seeking a highly experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Pinnacle Logistics Solutions.

This role is responsible for managing and growing our Carrier partnerships, working closely with our Operations team to ensure seamless logistics operations from client request to delivery verification.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in the over-dimensional trucking transportation market, with a strong network of connections within the Canadian asset-based carrier market.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Logistics Schedule Management: Consistent and proactive oversight of cargo in transit, matched to required at-site date and construction schedule adjustments.
  • Delivery Oversight: Coordinate place of delivery with Transportation Analyst, Warehouse and Materials Managers to ensure all verticals are informed.
  • Scheduling: Daily monitoring and reporting of loads in transit, staged by location and status while reporting anomalies and any delays.
  • Cargo Register: Liaison with shippers to capture cargo details in advance of required at-site date and enter all details in Cargo Register while issuing scheduled updates and advising our Transportation Analyst of anomalies or challenging cargo.
  • Container and Trailer Registers: Daily monitoring and reporting of container and trailers in transit, staged by location and load/unload status. This includes reporting anomalies, delays, and container/trailer statuses in transit.

What you'll need to succeed in this role:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in the over-dimensional trucking transportation market; Asset or non-asset.
  • Experience with complex industries such as oil & gas, renewable energy, nuclear, mining, large infrastructure projects, hydro-electric, etc.
  • A network of connections within the Canadian asset-based carrier market.
  • Proven track record of learning new systems, both procedural and technical, as well as approaching challenges proactively.
  • Experience in leading teams, project management, and with client communications.
  • Ability to work in an office environment 5 days a week at our HQ in Cambridge, ON.
