Estimated Salary Range: $45.45 - $60.39 HourlyWe offer a competitive salary range based on the location and level of experience.
About the RoleThe Health Services Manager will contribute to policy development, quality initiatives, service standardization, and resource management, reporting to the Director, Mental Health & Addictions. This role requires providing strategic and operational leadership for an interprofessional health services team, focusing on day-to-day clinical operations, standards of care, and maintaining a safe and respectful work environment.
The ideal candidate will possess sound professional judgment and initiative, working within the framework and objectives of the Mental Health and Addictions Program and the Mission and Vision of Nova Scotia Health. They will also exhibit excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, conflict resolution, negotiation, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree from a healthcare-related discipline
- Master's degree or leadership certificate (an asset)
- Minimum five years recent experience in a leadership and/or management position with responsibilities related to program planning, evaluation, human resource, and financial management within a unionized environment
- Minimum five years recent clinical experience in a position included in this portfolio
- Registration with the relevant healthcare discipline college/association
- Leadership/management experience (an asset)
