Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team at Alberta Health Services. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for providing therapy to individuals and groups, as well as counseling clients to achieve personal, social, and vocational development and adjustment. You will also apply psychological theory and principles regarding behaviour and mental processes, plan intervention programs, administer standard psychological tests for assessment, interpret test results, and help clients manage physical illness and disorders.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree in Psychology or a related field, as well as a Provincial or territorial Psychologist's Certificate of Registration. You must also possess excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a healthcare institution or facility.

Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including dental plan, disability benefits, health care plan, paramedical services coverage, and vision care benefits, you will also receive a generous paid time off policy.

Working Conditions
