BrokerLink Insurance is seeking a highly skilled Account Executive II to join our Commercial Insurance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients, developing and maintaining strong relationships, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a prospect list through direct solicitation and regular client contact.
  • Review and analyze existing commercial accounts to identify inadequately protected exposures and recommend necessary changes in coverage.
  • Prepare and submit proposals, arrange for replacement of accounts, and collect premiums or down payments as per BrokerLink guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain a positive, cooperative, professional image with clients, community profiles, company personnel, and other staff members.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, products, and pricing issues and share information with BrokerLink.
  • Coordinate with and advise the Account Manager on any claim or loss settlement and assist clients in documenting claims and dealing with adjusters as necessary.
Requirements
  • High degree of professionalism, diplomacy, and integrity.
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and deadlines.
  • Able to work both individually and in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent.
  • 5-7+ years of industry, sales, and customer service experience.
  • RIBO/AIC Level 1 and 2.
  • Commitment to continual learning: CIP, CAIB 1 & 2, CAIB 3 & 4, or working towards completion.
  • Experience with Office Suite, TAM, CompuQuote, SAVERS, and Policy Works.
