About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our team at Accoravillage. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in partnership with our Account Executives to manage advisor relationships and provide superior client service directly to plan sponsors and advisors.
  • Manage all aspects of servicing, including installation of new benefits plans, renewal activities, amendment activities, and training clients on procedures and systems.
  • Handle general inquiries and assist with finalist presentations as needed.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure responsive service standards are met or exceeded.
  • Provide a positive service experience for plan sponsors as their primary relationship manager for implementations, renewals, and amendments.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of employee benefit insurance experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical, time-management, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including active listening and the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • High level of attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
  • Demonstrated presentation and training skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of group insurance and the ability to learn Accoravillage processes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of rating methodology and our pooling arrangement.
  • The ability to apply a client-first mindset and work with every policyholder to provide effective service and maximize client satisfaction and retention.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and evolving priorities.
  • Flexibility to travel (on an infrequent and as needed basis) with access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, with the ability to learn and apply new system applications.
  • Bilingual in French and English, written and spoken is an asset.
