Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insurance Brokerage Representative to join our team at KRG Insurance. As a key member of our commercial marketing team, you will be responsible for designing, securing, and delivering top-notch insurance programs and professional expertise to our diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess client risk exposures and insurance needs, identifying coverage gaps and opportunities for upsell/cross-sell.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to secure new business and retain existing clients.
  • Collaborate with producers and clients to prepare marketing submissions, binders, proposals, and other documentation.
  • Coordinate with insuring partners to deliver seamless insurance solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to provide expert advice to clients.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial insurance brokerage experience.
  • Strong technical insurance knowledge, including placement of all classes of insurance and specialty products.
  • RIBO license, active and in good standing.
  • Other industry qualifications, such as CAIB, CIP, CRM, etc., are considered assets.
  • Post-secondary education is an asset.
Skills and Attributes
  • Exceptional customer service skills with strong business acumen.
  • Sales-driven approach to account management and ability to identify coverage gaps and upsell/cross-sell.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use creativity in structuring product proposals and documentation.
  • Advanced computer skills with experience in MS Office, EPIC, Applied Systems, and PolicyWorks.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
