We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at The Longhorn Saloon. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef.
- Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work areas.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Personal Qualities: Organized, team player, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Gratuities: Competitive gratuities package.
- Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Language: English.
