We are seeking dedicated and skilled Line Cooks to join our dynamic and energetic team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you can showcase your culinary skills.
Job Details:
Salary: $18.50 per hour
Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Work Schedule: Flexible hours including days, evenings, and weekends
Key Responsibilities:
As a Line Cook, your primary duties will include:
1. Preparing and cooking a variety of meals and individual dishes.
2. Planning menus and determining portion sizes.
3. Estimating food requirements and costs, and managing inventory.
4. Training kitchen staff in food preparation and safety practices.
5. Supervising kitchen operations and maintaining cleanliness.
Qualifications:
Education: High school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role
Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication skills.
Work Environment:
Our kitchen operates in a fast-paced setting that requires physical stamina and the ability to handle repetitive tasks. We value flexibility and organization in our team members.
