We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Blacks Pub. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to order, using a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Team Leadership: Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a high-quality dining experience.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
