This position involves managing relationships with clients, overseeing daily operations, maintenance, administration, and financial management for properties within your portfolio. Key responsibilities may include:

  • Managing a portfolio of residential and commercial properties.
  • Prioritizing and executing business and projects generated by the portfolio in a timely manner.
  • Coordinating projects, emergencies, contracts, and contractors as required by the portfolio.
  • Creating meeting agendas, conducting meetings (including some evening meetings), and following up with accurate minutes.
  • Administering financial matters of the portfolio, including budgeting, expense analysis, and reviewing and coding invoices.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 1-2 years of experience in high-rise residential and/or property management.
  • A Real Estate and Property Management License in Alberta is required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Residential Tenancy Act of Alberta.
  • A positive, hands-on approach with a focus on delivering excellent client service.
  • The ability to multi-task, balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and manage client expectations.
  • The capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with financial and budget reviews, as well as insurance policies related to property management.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
