Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

At ROYCE LOGISTICS LTD, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 or A Driver's License
  • Experience with dry bulk, flatbed, and tractor-trailer equipment
  • Long-haul transportation experience
  • Valid passport and ability to travel
  • Pass a drug test
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often away from home for extended periods. You will be required to work 40-60 hours per week, with regular breaks and time off.
