Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

GOLD LEAF TRUCK LINES INC. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Safely: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and efficient cargo handling.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
