Job Summary

GOLD LEAF TRUCK LINES INC. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials, adhering to schedules and deadlines.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient operation, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload goods and materials, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other drivers to coordinate delivery schedules and routes.
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 or A Driver's License.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Long Haul Truck Driver.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Working Conditions

Long Haul Truck Drivers will work in a fast-paced environment, often working long hours and traveling across the country. Drivers will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and inclement weather.
