GOLD LEAF TRUCK LINES INC. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive Safely: Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and Unload: Load and unload goods at designated locations, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train.
- Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English.
