Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

At Transville Transport Ltd., we are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Ensure that your vehicle is in good working condition, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and make any necessary repairs.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods at designated locations, following all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring that all shipments are delivered on time and in good condition.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Will train
  • Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
