Job Title: Civil Design Director

Job Summary:

Lrostaffing is seeking a highly experienced Civil Design Director to join our team. As a leader in the Canadian construction industry, our client is a renowned General Contractor with a passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Design Managers and Design Coordinators on institutional buildings and light industrial projects within Ontario and British Columbia.
  • Develop and implement design concepts that meet the client's needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

  • At least 15 years of professional experience in design and project management on major projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Experience working with Design & Build, Public-Private-Partnership (P3), and other alternative contractual modes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
