About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Civil Designer to join our team at Mediabistro. As a CAD Civil Designer, you will be responsible for providing technical and engineering design support on a wide variety of unique projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline project teams to manage project tasks and provide technical support
  • Develop advanced 3D modeling and design analysis to support large-scale, multi-discipline projects
  • Perform complex calculations and apply results to design for optimum results
  • Prepare engineering drawings for conceptual, tender, construction, and as-built deliverables
  • Manage workload commitments and adhere to global company standards and processes
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior and intermediate employees
  • Participate in a global technical community of like-minded practitioners
Requirements
  • Techincal or Technology Diploma or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Mining, Geotechnical, Environmental, or Ground Engineering
  • At least 5-9 years (Intermediate) or 10+ years (Senior) of relevant experience and advanced knowledge of Civil Engineering design principles using Civil 3D modeling application
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to following global company standards and processes
