About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Civil Designer Technician to join our Earth & Environment digital design team in Ontario or Atlantic region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical and engineering design support on a wide variety of unique projects locally and around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline project teams to manage project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Provide advanced 3D modeling and design analysis to support large-scale, multi-discipline projects.
  • Perform complex calculations and apply results to design for optimum results.
  • Prepare engineering drawings for conceptual, tender, construction, and as-built deliverables.
  • Manage your own workload commitments and adhere to global company standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior and intermediate employees.
  • Participate in a global technical community of like-minded practitioners.
Requirements
  • A Technician or Technology Diploma or equivalent in civil engineering, mining, geotechnical, environmental, or ground engineering.
  • At least 5-9 years (Intermediate) or 10+ years (Senior) of relevant experience and advanced knowledge of Civil Engineering design principles using Civil 3D modeling application.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to following global company standards, processes, and best practices.
