Heavy Civil / Structural Design Engineer Opportunity

Tony Gee and Partners is seeking a skilled Heavy Civil / Structural Design Engineer to contribute to our Toronto office's portfolio of projects in Canada and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop heavy civil and structural engineering projects using Canadian Standards
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to produce design deliverables and supervise project teams
  • Utilize computer software for structure analysis and design
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders through written and oral presentations
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy civil engineering or structural design
  • Experience with steel and concrete design to Canadian Standards
  • Proficiency in computer software for structure analysis and design
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with composite steel/concrete, masonry, geotechnical, and timber design
  • Knowledge of rail-related structures and loading to AREMA standards
  • Finite element software experience for structure analysis
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
