Exciting Opportunity for a Civil Design Engineer

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil designs for complex projects, including earthworks, landfills, solid waste, and site remediation.

About the Role
  • Design and deliver civil designs for multi-discipline projects, working closely with Business Leads and Managers.
  • Coordinate all aspects of civil design, including budget and schedule management.
  • Develop or verify the technical scope of a project, ensuring client requirements are met.
  • Participate in design coordination meetings and address critical issues.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, with EIT/P. Eng in Ontario.
  • Minimum 5 years of technical design experience, with 10 years of experience in civil construction.
  • Demonstrable experience in civil design delivery for larger, multi-discipline projects.
  • Experience working in a Design-Build environment is an asset.
  • Exceptional communication skills and industry exposure.
  • Demonstrated understanding and proficiency in bid take-off software.
