Job Title: Executive Chef

THE SAFFRON is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the needs of our customers.
  • Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses to maintain profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a chef or in a related culinary role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
